The Inner & External Villains
Inner: Negative Self Talk
Its too hard, it won't work anyways, "I’ve done a fitness program in the past, but I got bored" it's to hard, I can't do it.
Self Talk: “I’m too fat, I’m too old, I’m not strong enough”.
External: Perception that CrossFit or BootCamp is for Elite Athletes
CF is the most versatile sport out there. You can modify any workout for someone who’s never done 1 squat to the most elite. CF helps you take control of your life, create confidence and increase self esteem. Nothing replaces the community cheering you on, supporting you and holding you accountable.
Why Are These Guys Villains?
Sugar is Poison. Hands down, no "sugar" coating it. Our bodies don't know how to process it and cannot use it. Sugar spikes up our insulin levels and with a high sugar diet it cause havoc on our bodies.
Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, and weight gain. With more studies sugar is being linked to Alzheimer's, Cancer, Elevated Anxiety, Depression, and so much more.
Hypertension is another name for high blood pressure. It can lead to severe complications and increases the risk of heart disease, stroke, and death. Blood pressure is the force exerted by the blood against the walls of the blood vessels.
Negative Mindset is another Villain. This one is self inflicted in our minds. Our Self Talk, what we say about ourselves, what our beliefs are about ourselves and the world around us.
Words like: "I'm not good enough, It's not for me, It's too hard, I suck, I can't do it, I hate myself, I'm too fat, I'm too lazy, I'm worthless." That's all toxic energy we hang onto.
